1 teaspoon lime juice
1 dash Angostura bitters
1 dash orange bitters.

1/2 ounce sweet vermouth

2 ounces Gin
1/2 ounce Sweet Vermouth
1/2 ounce Grapefruit Juice.

Opera

2 ounces gin
1/2 ounce Dubonnet
1/4 ounce maraschino liqueur
1 dash orange bitters

Stir with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a Lemon Twist.


Obituary Cocktail

2 ounces gin
1/4 ounce dry vermouth
1/4 ounce pastis

Stir with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass.


Monkey Gland

2 ounces Gin
1 ounce Orange Juice
1/4 ounce Grenadine
1 dash Pernod

Martini

This is the original recipe:

1 1/4 - 2 ounces gin
1/2 ounce dry vermouth
green olive

Shake with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a green olive.

These days unless you specify, most bars will serve you a vodka martini. Ian Fleming's James Bond made this popular. Also, before the early 1960's martinis were stirred.

Martinez

Long Island Ice Tea

Was first served in the late 1970s by Robert (Rosebud) Butt, a bartender at the Oak Beach Inn, in Babylon, Long Island, New York.

1/2 ounce Vodka
1/2 ounce Gin
1/2 ounce Rum
1/2 ounce Tequila
1/2 ounce Vodka
1/2 ounce Triple Sec
Splash of sweet & sour mix
Top with Coke
Build all ingredients in an ice tea glass, then garnish with a lemon wedge.


Leap Year

2 ounces gin
1/2 ounce sweet vermouth
1/2 ounce Grand Marnier
Dash of lemon juice

Shake with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass.


Jupiter

2 ounces Gin
1 ounce Dry Vermouth
1 teaspoon Orange Juice
1 teaspoon Parfait Amour

Be extremly careful with the measurement of the Parfait Amour. Too muich will ruin this drink. Shake with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass.


Jasmine

1 1/2 ounces gin
1 ounce Cointreau
3/4 ounce Campari
1/2 ounce lemon juice
