ChamPino

1 ounce Campari
1 1/4 ounce Sweet Vermouth
2 ounces Champagne

Shake campari and sweet vermouth with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass and top with champagne. Garnish with a lemon twist. (Created by: Audrey Saunders)


Champagne Flamingo

3/4 ounce vodka
3/4 ounce Campari
5 ounces chilled champagne

Shake vodka and Campari with ice. Strain into a champagne flute and top with champage. Garnish with a zest of orange.


Champagne Cocktail

6 ounces chilled champagne
1 cube sugar
Angostura bitters

Soak sugar cube with Angostura bitters. Place the cube in the bottom of a champagne flute. Fill with champagne. Garnish with a lemon twist.


Ward 8

1 1/2 ounces bourbon whiskey
1/2 ounce lemon juice
1/2 ounce orange juice
1 teaspoon grenadine

Shake with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass.


Old Pal

1 ounce rye or bourbon whiskey
3/4 ounce dry vermouth
3/4 ounce Campari

Stir with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.


Old Fashioned

1/2 orange slice
1 cube sugar
2 dashes Angostura bitters
2 ounces rye or bourbon whiskey

Muddle orange, sugar, bitters together until the sugar is mostly dissolved. Fill glass with ice, then add the whiskey. Garnish with a marachino cherry, and perhaps an additional orange slice. Serve with a swizzle stick and/or straw


Mint Julep

4 ounces bourbon whiskey
4 to 6 sprigs of mint
2 sugar cubes

Put Bourbon, Mint, and Sugar into the bottom of a cocktail shaker. Muddle to dissolve sugar and blend mint leaves. Let stand for a bit to help release the mint flavor. Add ice, and shake well to chill, then strain into a glass filled with shaved ice.


Milk Punch

4 ounces bourbon whiskey
4 ounces milk
1/2 teaspoon dark rum
1 tablespoon simple syrup

Shake with ice. Strain into a chilled 10-ounce highball glass. Dust with nutmeg.


Manhattan

1 1/4 oz. whiskey (bourbon)
1/2 ounce sweet vermouth
Cherry

Shake and strain into a cocktail glass. You can also use rye instead of bourbon.
(optional: 1 dash of Angostura bitters)


Eastern Sour

2 ounces bourbon whiskey
1 1/2 ounce orange juice
1 ounce fresh squeezed lime juice
1/4 ounce orgeat syrup (almond syrup)
1/4 ounce simple syrup

Shake with ice. Strain into an ice filled tumbler. Garnish with spent shell of lime. by Trader Vic


Derby

2 ounces bourbon whiskey
1/4 ounce Benedictine
1 dash Angostura bitters

Stir with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon peel.


Commodore

2 ounces bourbon whiskey
3/4 ounce white creme de cacao
1/2 ounce lemon juice
1 dash grenadine

Shake with ice. Strain into champagne flute.


Twentieth Century Cocktail

1 1/2 ounce Gin
3/4 ounce Lillet
3/4 ounce Lemon Juice
1/2 ounce Creme de Cacao (white)

Shake with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass.


Pink Lady

1 1/2 ounces gin
1/2 ounce Applejack
3/4 ounce lemon juice
splash grenadine
1 egg white.

Shake with ice. Strain into wine glass.


Pink Gin

1 1/2 ounces gin
3 or 4 dashes Angostura bitters.

Stir with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass. Another way to make this is to swirl a splash of bitters in a cocktail glass. Shake, or flick, the bitters out and pour the gin into the glass. You can also add water to taste or serve on the rocks.
