This is my depiction of the Hindu Goddess Kali.

Though she seems to be feared in the west, despite her grotesque appearance she is considered a benevolent-mother figure. She took this form to fight an army of demons led by Raktabija, who could spawn clones of himself from every drop of his blood that was spilled!

This is definitely going to be one of my next tattoos.
