Continuing my habit of posting late news, this year I successfully completed participation in Inktober.     Inktober was started by artist Jake Parker in 2009 to get artists drawing something every day in October and of course using ink as the main or final medium.    Since then it has become an international phenomenon, especially on social media.   Each year there is an official “prompts” list; a word of the day for inspiration. However, artists can choose to follow or ignore them.   I followed the daily suggestions for 30 days then chose to ignore the final word-of-the-day.   Anyway, here are my drawings for the Inktober 2019.    Looking forward to doing this again next year!
