I’ve been wanting to make more fanart in general. I liked the idea of designing posters for my favorite movies so I decided to start with the 1968 classic crime-thriller “Bullitt” starring Steve McQueen as San Francisco cop Frank Bullitt.

If you’ve never seen it – do it! After re-watching the movie and doing a bunch of online image research I sketched and inked each of the images in Sketchbook Pro. I had a general idea for this layout and I moved the individual drawings around collage-style. I knew that I needed Steve McQueen – big and right up top in the composition. Also, besides the title, I wanted the two other largest elements to be McQueen’s co-stars: Jacqueline Bissett and that beautiful 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback!
