White Russian

1 oz. Vodka
1 oz. Coffee liqueur (Kahlua)
1/2 oz. Cream

Build in a rocks glass with ice. Float cream on top.
(Note: This is the same thing as a Black Russian, except with the addition of the float of cream.)


Lemon Drop

1 1/2 ounces citron vodka
3/4 ounce lemon juice
1 teaspoon sugar

Shake with ice. Strain into a frosted cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon wheel.


Kangaroo

1 1/2 ounces Vodka
1/2 ounce dry Vermouth

Stir with ice. Strain into a chillled cocktial glass. Garnish with a lemon zest


Kamikaze

1 1/2 ounces vodka
1 ounce triple sec
1 ounce lime juice

Stir all the ingredients with ice. Strain into a chillled tumbler filled with ice. Garnish with a lime twist.


Harrington

1 1/2 ounces vodka
1/4 ounce Cointreau (or Triple Sec)
1/8 ounce Chartreuse

Stir with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass. Twist an orange zest over the drink and then float zest in drink. Created by: Paul Harrington


Grape Nehi

1 ounce Vodka
1 ounce Chambord
1 ounce fresh lemon juice

Shake with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass.


Cosmopolitan

2 ounces vodka
1 ounce cranberry juice
1 ounce Cointreau or Triple Sec
1/2 ounce lime juice
1/2 ounce simple syrup

Shake with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass. Optional: Before pouring the drink, you can moisten the rim of the glass with lime, then coat with sugar. Some people also add finely grated zest of orange to the sugar used to coat the glass with. A dash of Orange Bitters also works really well with this cocktail.


Caesar

1 ounce vodka
4 ounces tomato-clam juice (aka Clamato juice)
Pinch of salt and pepper
Dash Worcestershire sauce
2 to 3 dashes horseradish
Celery salt
Celery stalk

Shake ingredients with ice. Coat rim of a highball or delmonico glass with celery salt, and then fill with ice. Strain mixture into glass. Garnish with a celery stalk and a lemon wedge.


Whiskey Sour

  • 2 ounces bourbon whiskey
  • 2 ounces Lemon Juice
  • 1 ounce Simple Syrup

Shake with ice. Strain into a tumbler filled with ice.


Vieux Carre

3/4 ounce rye whiskey
3/4 ounce brandy
3/4 ounce sweet vermouth
splash Benedictine
dash Peychaud bitters
dash Angostura bitters

Build, over ice, in a rocks glass.


Scottish Guard

1 1/2 ounces bourbon whiskey
1/2 ounce lemon juice
1/2 ounce orange juice
1 teaspoon grenadine.

Shake with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass.


Scofflaw

1 ounce Canadian Whiskey
1 ounce dry vermouth
1/4 ounce lemon juice
Dash of grenadine
Dash of orange bitters

Stir with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon wedge.


Old Fashioned

1/2 orange slice
1 cube sugar
2 dashes Angostura bitters
2 ounces rye or bourbon whiskey

Muddle orange, sugar, bitters together until the sugar is mostly dissolved. Fill glass with ice, then add the whiskey. Garnish with a marachino cherry, and perhaps an additional orange slice. Serve with a swizzle stick and/or straw.


Monte Carlo

2 ounces rye whiskey
1/2 ounce Benedictine
2 dashes Angostura bitters

Stir with ice. Strain into a cocktail glass.


Manhattan

1 1/4 oz. whiskey (bourbon)
1/2 ounce sweet vermouth
Cherry

Shake and strain into a cocktail glass. You can also use rye instead of bourbon.
(optional: 1 dash of Angostura bitters)
