Mumbai Attacks & New Arts

I spent half of my Thanksgiving holiday watching the attacks on Mumbai unfold. I was sad for all the pointless loss of life but most of all I was ANGRY. Angry as hell for unheeded warnings, angry for defiling one of my favorite cities in the world, and angry that Pakistan refuses to keep these groups in check. Mumbai is a resilient city and will be to its vibrant self soon. Much respect to the security forces who took out those bastards and freed the hostages. And even more respect to those who fought for them and died. Well, on a happier note I managed to do some more digital speed...

Well the Hindu festival of Durga Puja is winding down. It’s a particularly big deal for us Bengalis. The festival commemorates the victory of the Goddess Durga over the demon Mahishashura.
